When it comes to beliefs in church there are a lot of questions to be asked. It would take many conversations over coffee to sit and discuss all the incredible details of God. We do believe there are some beliefs that are essential to who we are as a church that define what our relationship with God looks like. We have built ourselves on this foundation.

We believe one God is the creator and ruler of the universe. He is made up of three equal parts; Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1:1, 26-27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

We believe Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death.
(Matthew 1:22,23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5, 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 6:14-15; Titus 2:13)

We believe The Holy Spirit lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right.
(2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13, 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:18)

We believe the Bible is God’s word to us. It is the final say in all matters of faith and the source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.
(2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105 & 160, 12:6; Proverbs 30:5)

We believe people are made in the image of God, everyman willfully chose to sin therefore separating themselves from God.
(Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2)

We believe that the forgiveness of sin found only through the blood of Jesus when he gave his life on the cross.
(Matthew 26:28; Romans 5:8–11; Ephesians 2:8–9)

We believe the path to receive Jesus as savior is that we believe in Christ as God’s Son, to repent of personal sin, to confess Christ as Lord and to be immersed in baptism.
(Luke 24:45–47; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:1–7; 2 Peter 3:9).

We believe the church is the body and bride of Christ, founded on the day of Pentecost, consisting of all christians everywhere.
(Matthew 16:13–18; Acts 2:14–47)

We believe it is God’s design for elders to shepherd the local church.
(Acts 20:28; 1 Timothy 3:1–7; 1 Peter 5:1–4)

We believe people were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation.
(John 3:16; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15)
