Life groups provide relationships with other Christians.

Relationships are instrumental for spiritual growth.

Being involved in a Life Group connects you with people close to the same stage of life where you are at. Life groups provide a safe environment of people who can encourage, equip, listen and pray for you.

And you can do the same for them!

My Messed Up Family- Forgiveness
May 12th
When is a time in your life that you did not expect to receive forgiveness but did? How did you feel at that moment?
Why is forgiveness so important in family life?
Why does it hurt more when someone close to you hurt you?
Have you ever stood in Peter’s shoes and hurt someone in your family that you never thought you would? What led to it? How did you move past it?
What is Jesus asking Peter to do? How does this demonstrate forgiveness from Peters denial?
Do you agree or disagree with the statement “Trust is the proof of forgiveness”? Why?
While Jesus hands forgiveness to Peter, Peter also has to forgive himself. Is it harder to forgive someone else or forgive yourself?
Peter understands on a deeper level that forgiveness leads to joy. How have you seen the following segment played out in your forgiveness?
“If we just carry our mistakes from the past, we can never pick up the joy of the future.”
What would look different in your life if you chose joy over grudges?

Weekly Events at Crossroads

We have age appropriate classes available for toddlers through 5th grade students on Sunday Mornings during the 8am, 9:30am, and 11am worship service in the Crossroads Kids basement. We start in our classrooms for small groups, then head to large group for worship, communion, and lesson. After large group, kids head back to their age-respective classes for small group application. Our nursery is also available for all three services.
At 6pm every Sunday night during the school year, kids of all ages are invited to come to Little Lambs (for Toddlers-Preschoolers) or God Rock Crew (K-5th).
We enjoy a meal together, worship, learn a lesson, play games, make crafts, and enjoy spending time together.

We have age appropriate classes available for both middle school and high school students on Sunday Mornings during the 9:30 worship service in the Student Ministry basement.
We also have Sunday Night Programming from 5:30-7:30 on Sunday Evenings.  Our Sunday night program is designed for students to have both a large and small group experience. The first half of the program consists of large-group worship with music, Biblical teaching, creative learning, and interactive fun. The second half is a small group time where students and student life group leaders will continue to explore Scripture, talk through the large group message, and engage in discussion—all while building lifelong relationships.  It is our goal that each week, students will have the opportunity to engage in high-energy, authentic worship, hear truth from God’s Word, and receive challenges to help them grow in their relationships with Jesus and others.

Every Thursday morning at 11am, our JOY group gets together at Crossroads for fellowship and a Bible study. Come join us as we meet together to open God’s word.
Once a quarter, the Nesters (as we like to call them) get together to go on a trip. Fun, food, and fellowship for all of our empty nesters!
