Christmas Party: Hold On

We too many times sanitize the Christmas story to fit on our mantle. When we do this, we rob the story of its humanity. The moments when we are ready to give up, God says hold on! Often when we are ready to give up, is the moment that God is about to move in.

REVELATION: Jesus…Over All

An Earthly view of Heaven changes everything! Even in the middle of the broken world, let us live with hope that God will make all things new and it will be just how he has it planned. Revelation 21:1-27, Revelation 22:20.

REVELATION: Jesus…in difficulty

We face difficult times, temptations, and personal struggles as a result of Satan. As followers of Jesus, our hope is not found in the culture around us or the government in front of us. Our hope is found in our perseverance toward Jesus! Revelation 14:6-13, Revelation 17:1-6.

REVELATION: Jesus…At War

Satan is waging war, but if we stay faithful to Jesus, we win. Revelation 12:1-6, Revelation 12:7-17, Revelation 13:7-18, Revelation 14:1.

REVELATION: Jesus…Is Over All

Revelation isn’t all doom and gloom. We get incredible pictures of encouragement and hope. Jesus is overall and deserves our worship. How we worship displays who we worship. Revelation 4:1-8, Revelation 5:1-14.

REVELATION: Jesus…for the Church

As Jesus speaks to the churches in Revelation, He speaks to us today. Sometimes not easy to hear, but needed to prepare well. If the church is the hope of the world, let us live that hope! Revelation 2:1-7, Revelation 2:12-17, Revelation 3:14-22.

REVELATION: Jesus…is why

Revelation is often filled with questions and misunderstandings. What if it wasn’t that complicated? What if Revelation is a letter written to prepare us for the day we meet Jesus? The target of Revelation is not prediction, it is you! Revelation 1:1-8

YES Or NO: YES To The Next Generation, NO To The Same

When we say say to the next generation, we say yes to the church for years to come. The truth of God’s word stays the same, but how we communicate it might change. When method becomes our messiah, we have lost our message. 1 Timothy 5:1-2, Ephesians 4:1-3, Galatians 3:26-29.

YES or NO: YES To Marriage, NO To Me

Marriage if not taken care of can crumble over time. Saying yes to good things instead of pouring into your marriage can lead to an empty marriage. Marriage is not a game to win, it is a life to give. Ephesians 5:21-33.

YES or NO: YES To Adventure, NO To Fear

Our fears in life shackle us from the adventures in life God calls us to. It’s not enough to just know the story of God, He calls us to live his adventure as well. Our biggest fears and stepping stones of God’s faithfulness. Exodus 3:7-10, Exodus 3:11-14, Exodus 4:1-17.
